With this process a new era has begun in the tube production industry. The Linear Cage Forming system is the result of many years of experience and accumulated knowledge in the tube production field. This method brings undisputed advantages as it relates to flexibility, production capabilities and cost reduction. This innovative system allows for the production of any tube of any size (included in the mill range), without roll change and provides for great reduction in set-up times. This method compared to the traditional production process is completely automated and set-up operations are easy, accurate and fast.

 Roll Sets

All rolls and tools used on the Olimpia80 mills are designed and produced in-house. Olimpia80’s Roll Design and Production Department is equipped with modern equipment and skilled personnel. The company is equipped to make rolls for the production of round, square, rectangular tubes as well as other profiles.

 Quick Change

All standard tube mills produced and supplied by Olimpia80 can be configured with a cassette system, which allows for a quick tool change. This method provides the possibility to change and adjust the new roll set off- line to form and size groups without stopping the production line. The new roll set can be placed into the line by a simple and fast cassette replacement. The cassettes can be moved in-line and off-line by lifting or by sliding on railways.
