Prototube was a Joint Venture between GBS and a former partner offering low volume production as well as prototype tubing. The company was located at the GBS facility and managed by GBS for approximately 2 years. The company was sold to Noble International, Warren, MI in October 2003 and relocated to Noble's facilities thereafter.

Metal Forming & Coining Corp.

GBS developed the subsidiary of MFC Netform in Michigan, dedicated to flow forming and other net shape – near net shape metal forming processes. Sales, product development, production start up and facility management was provided by GBS. The company recently relocated to Shelby Township. Transmission parts are shipped to Magna Powertrain, GM, Ford and many others.

GÖPEL electronic GmbH

Located in Jena, Germany, Goepel is Germany’s leading provider of functional test solutions for electronic components in a vehicle. Sales and technical services office was located at GBS and supported by GBS until May 2007. The company has moved to Plymouth, MI to cooperate with a local engineering company to better support local build of systems and service.

ARKU Maschinenbau GmbH

ARKU produces leveling machines and turnkey coil preparation lines and supplies throughout the world. The German machine builder supports its North American customers locally through their wholly owned subsidiary, ARKU Coil Systems, in the USA . GBS hosted and supported ARKU Coil Systems for three years. The company set up their own operation in the greater Cincinnati area starting May of 2007.

Müller Weingarten AG

Müller Weingarten AG (MWAG) is Germany's leading press manufacturer for small hydraulic presses, forging presses, large transfer presses and state of the art high pressure die casting machines. MWAG ( http://www.mwag.de ) has it's North American Subsidiary in Madison Heights, Michigan. Mr. Peter Beierling served as a member of Mueller Weingarten Corporation's Board of Directors until the Schuler Group acquired the Mueller Weingarten Group.

Thueringer Aussenwirtschaftsfoerderung (TAF)

GBS supports German States in the area of export support for companies located in those states. GBS has supported the Thueringer Aussenwirtschaftsfoerderung (TAF) in representation at the SAE show in Detroit and assisted participating companies (suppliers) from Thueringia in obtaining qualified contacts of potential customers and partners in North America. Although the TAF has been dissolved we continue to support Thueringen companies, such as Goepel electronics, RSP and others.

PUREM North America, LLC

Purem North America is dedicated to emission solutions for trucks and buses. GBS supported the start up of this DaimlerChrysler subsidiary located at Detroit Diesel. GBS supported the initial staffing of the company from general management to project and design engineers.

GBS conducted a market survey study for RSP for their suction (excavating) trucks and co-sponsored representation at an industry show in Tennessee with the business owners.
